Bold presence, strong character, well balanced; The striking JHS Viola is the instrument of choice for the advanced player. Top is of aged European tone-woods, the back is of selected maple. JHS viola has two different levels: One is made with Italian spruce top and selected Chinese maple back and sides, which is retail for $5,500. Available in Maggini, Strad, Guadagnini, and Testore. The other one is made with Italian spruce top and selected Bosnian maple back and sides, which is retail for $6,000. Available in Strad only.
